data deletion.
last updated · june 18, 2026
this page explains how to request deletion of any data down to tenths holds about you — whether you signed up with your email, signed in with a third-party provider (facebook, google), or were tracked anonymously through analytics.
what we may hold
- email address — if you submitted the launch signup form.
- account identifier — if you signed in via a third-party provider (e.g. a facebook user id), we may store a reference to it alongside your email.
- analytics events — anonymous-by-default product analytics linked to a random device id.
how to request deletion
send an email to hello@downtotenths.com from the address associated with your signup, with the subject “data deletion request”.
include in the message:
- the email address you signed up with, and
- if you signed in through facebook or another provider, mention which one so we can locate the linked account.
what happens next
- we'll confirm receipt within a few business days and action the deletion within 30 days.
- we'll remove your email and any linked account identifier from our database and ask our analytics processor (PostHog) to delete events associated with your distinct id where applicable.
- short-lived server logs at our hosting provider (Vercel) expire on their own retention schedule.
